Circular products
Every product designed to circulate: kept in use, then remanufactured and finally material recycled.
Our ambition is to reach net zero emissions across the entire value chain by 2040, ten years ahead of the Paris Agreement’s target year of 2050. These are the numbers behind the journey: emissions, energy, materials and waste, measured year on year.
Every product designed to circulate: kept in use, then remanufactured and finally material recycled.
Net zero greenhouse-gas emissions across scope 1, 2 and 3, a decade ahead of the Paris Agreement.
Producing at least as much renewable energy as we use, year after year.
Greenhouse-gas emissions across scope 1, 2 and 3 are tracked along the path to net zero. Between 2024 and 2025 we cut our climate impact by 10%, a total of 47% since 2019, from approximately 12,000 to 6,500 metric tons CO₂e.
| 2019 | 2020 | 2021 | 2022 | 2023 | 2024 | 2025 | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Scope 1 & 2 | 252 | 208 | 220 | 230 | 230 | 234 | 197 |
| Scope 3 | 11,909 | 8,552 | 9,086 | 10,717 | 9,945 | 6,991 | 6,278 |
| Total | 12,161 | 8,760 | 9,306 | 10,947 | 10,175 | 7,225 | 6,475 |
Scope 3, which includes for example purchased materials and logistics, accounts for over 96% of the climate impact, and is where the steepest reductions are being made. Calculated per the GHG Protocol; scope 3 categories 7 and 15 are not included. Scope 1 & 2 are reported together.
Life-cycle analyses of the majority of our products show where the climate impact mainly arises. Every phase contributes, but raw materials and components, mainly metals and textiles, account for the largest share.

Geothermal heating and 4,400 solar panels on the roof make the factory in Nybro a net producer of renewable electricity. Since 2022 the factory has produced more energy than it uses, so only around 2% of a product’s climate impact comes from manufacturing.
| Measure | 2020 | 2021 | 2022 | 2023 | 2024 | 2025 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Energy used | 1,181 | 1,307 | 1,350 | 1,300 | 1,270 | 1,180 |
| Energy produced | 1,117 | 1,007 | 1,550 | 1,380 | 1,287 | 1,363 |
| Net production | –64 | –300 | +200 | +80 | +17 | +183 |
Net production turned positive at the factory in 2022 and has stayed there. In 2025 the whole group reached net-positive for the first time.
Production waste is down 45% since 2019 (from 557 to 306 metric tons) through more efficient use of materials, recovery of off-cuts and design that reduces waste from the start.
Production waste in 2025 compared with the 2019 baseline. The long-term trend is downward.
Renewable materials are only circular when they are produced sustainably. The share of FSC-certified wood in our products rose from 34% to 99% in three years. Essentially all wood-based material therefore comes from responsible forestry that takes people and the environment into account.
of the wood used in 2025 was FSC-certified, compared with roughly a third in 2021.
We strive to make products that can stay in the circular economy for as long as possible. The ambition is for every product to be circular by 2030. We work by the principles that our products should last a long time, be easy to maintain and repair, be possible to move and be attractive to resell. Finally, they should be possible to remanufacture or recycle as material.
Our products should empower the people who use them by promoting learning, creativity and a better working environment. We grow by making the products better and reaching further, but that growth shall never come at the cost of anyone in our value chain.
Our home is Nybro, in Småland, a region built on craft and enterprise. Generations on our factory floor have made everything from Swedish art glass to flat-pack furniture, textiles and cars, and that knowledge goes into every board we build.
While working toward these mainly environmental targets we must make sure that human rights, business ethics and other aspects of sustainability are accounted for. People in any way connected to producing or handling our products shall benefit from our business, and we will do our utmost to prevent and mitigate any negative impact our business might have.
of our products are made in Nybro, in-house, keeping skills, quality and working conditions under our own roof.
Our products are tested and meet established requirements for VOC emissions, quality and acoustic performance. We use well-recognized third-party certifications and verifications for both our raw materials and finished products, for example LCAs and EPDs. We publicly disclose our company’s Scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions, calculated in accordance with the GHG Protocol.
