Cookies and other browser storage

A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser. Websites can also save information in local storage and session storage. These are different ways to remember choices and support site features. The tables below cover cookies and browser storage.

Choices, configuration and measurement

We use browser storage to remember your market, language, product list and cookie choice. On product pages, Mimeeq’s 3D configurator starts automatically without any action from you and saves an AWS (Cognito) guest ID in local storage for access to its services. This happens even if you do not use the configurator and have rejected all optional cookies. The ID remains until you clear your browser data. We also count visits with Plausible, without cookies or browser storage. Google Analytics 4 and advertising tools, if enabled, use cookies only with your consent to the relevant category.

Google Analytics 4 only with your consent

If enabled on the site and you allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 helps us understand how the site is used. Its cookies distinguish visitors with a pseudonymous ID and record visits and interactions. The data is not anonymous. Declining analytics does not prevent you from using the site. Plausible’s measurement without cookies, described above, is separate from this setting.

When you withdraw consent to marketing, we stop sending data to the advertising tools at once and remove their cookies and local storage that our site can access. LinkedIn’s third-party cookies are stored on LinkedIn’s own domain and our site cannot remove them. They may remain until they expire or you clear them in your browser.

Change your mind at any time

You can change or withdraw your consent in the settings below. When you withdraw consent to analytics or marketing, we stop sending data for that category and remove the cookies and local storage that our site can access. You can also delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. Clearing site storage can remove your product list, language and cookie choices. Rejecting optional cookies does not stop Plausible’s measurement without cookies or Mimeeq’s configurator from starting.
