Well-functioning ecosystems are essential for human life. Forests play a crucial role in combating climate change, protecting biodiversity, and providing materials we rely on every day. As most LINTEX products contain wood-based materials, it is our responsibility to ensure that the wood we use is produced sustainably and ethically. Since becoming FSC® certified in August 2021, we have worked hard to transform our supply chains. By certifying each product step by step, we’ve achieved a significant milestone: in 2023, 98% of the wood we purchased was FSC® certified. This reflects our commitment to supporting responsible forestry and protecting the planet for future generations.
Area is made using FSC® certified oak.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a global, not-for-profit organisation that promotes responsible forest management. This ensures forestry practices that respect biological diversity, uphold good working conditions, and prohibit illegal deforestation. Additionally, harvested areas must be replanted. LINTEX is certified according to the FSC Chain of Custody standard. This certification allows us to label our products with the FSC mark, guaranteeing that the wood can be traced back to responsibly managed forests where it was originally grown.
