At Lintex, we prioritise transparency and third-party verification. Instead of making vague claims about being “environmentally friendly” or “green” we rely on credible certifications to validate our efforts. Therefore, we are proud to announce that two of our product series have received the EU Ecolabel: the acoustic screens Edge Floor and Edge Table (with standard fabrics Blazer Lite and Cura Screen) and the classic whiteboards Boarder and Boarder Sharp (available in ten sizes). The certification covers the main environmental impacts of the products and also their technical performance, including health and safety.
We choose to work with the EU Ecolabel because it is a trusted and well-recognised certification in Europe, our primary market. Furthermore, upcoming EU legislation, such as the Green Claims Directive and the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation, highlights the EU Ecolabel as a reliable certification. This empowers furniture buyers to make informed decisions when choosing more sustainable products.
The EU Ecolabel criteria address the main environmental impacts of products throughout their full lifecycle—from raw material extraction to disposal—and are openly available for public review. These criteria are developed collaboratively by the European Commission, Member States, industry experts, consumer organisations, and environmental NGOs.
